Offset tokens, or NFTs (Non-Fungible Token), evolve with your impact: each time you offset another ton of carbon, your digital token transforms, visually displaying your growing contribution to the planet's health. It's a living, digital receipt and testament to your commitment, blossoming with every ton of carbon you neutralize.
🌱 Accruing Tokens:
When you subscribe to our platform, you'll get an "Element Offset Journey" (EOJ) NFT inside your digital wallet. This token is represented as an image and accrues 0.40 MtC monthly per individual subscribed to help reach emissions reduction goals. Every time you accumulate 1 ton of reduced CO2 emissions, your EOJ token updates with this information and your account will show that Offset has now issued you an additional NFT, the "Element Carbon Offset" (ECO) token, representing only the supported project responsible for the 1 ton of reduced CO2.
The EOJ NFT serves as a personal tool to reducing your carbon footprint, tracking your progress as you continue to subscribe and offset more carbon over time.
🌱 Utilizing Tokens:
Receiving your EOJ NFT and subsequent ECO tokens are straightforward and integrated seamlessly into your experience with Offset. Whether you're simply viewing your NFT or accruing and taking ownership of carbon offsets, your Element digital wallet will be your one-stop shop.
Your Offset EOJ and ECO tokens can be tucked away and kept safe in your Element digital wallet. They represent our commitment to adding value to your experience and our ambition to continue this journey with other products, services, and goals.
